Austek Roads (ACT) are seeking a casual Spray Seal Labourer / Trainee Truck Driver to join our team in Hume, ACT.
What you'll be doing
- Safely operate heavy vehicles, plant and equipment
- Safe labouring duties may include but not limited to shovelling and raking, running wheelbarrow, safely positioning and unloading trucks for spray seal operations
- Follow direction of Crew leader, site foreperson, project manager and other senior managers
- Safe manual handling practises
- Perform pre-operational checks and maintenance on all assigned equipment
- Identify and report any equipment issues or maintenance needs
- Adhere to all health, safety and environmental policies and procedures
What we're looking for
- Current driver's licence (HC/HR/MR) and ability to obtain necessary construction certifications
- White card
- Silica and Asbestos aware...
