Job Description
The PLC Engineer is responsible for designing, programming, implementing, and maintaining PLC‐based automation solutions to support manufacturing operations. The role ensures high levels of efficiency, safety, and reliability across automated production lines. This position collaborates with cross‐functional teams, provides technical support, and leads continuous improvement initiatives related to automation and control systems.
Develop, modify, and troubleshoot PLC programs (Allen‐Bradley RSLogix, Studio 5000, Mitsubishi GX‐Works3).
Design PLC control architectures for new production lines and integrate PLCs into existing systems.
Support production and maintenance teams in resolving complex automation issues.
Create maintenance documentation, training materials, and deliver technical training.
Support business units with automation projects, including RFP development, contractor engagement, and FAT/SAT validation.
