Job Description
The Senior Buyer is responsible for developing mid- to long-term strategies for direct materials (steel) at regional and global levels. This role manages supplier negotiations, ensures material availability, and supports new project launches and engineering changes, driving cost competitiveness and timely delivery.
- Develop and execute purchasing strategies for direct materials (steel) aligned with corporate and project objectives.
- Lead RFQ processes , requesting and analyzing supplier quotes for price, availability, and delivery.
- Prepare comparative analysis matrices to identify the best QCD (Quality, Cost, Delivery) options.
- Maintain and update purchasing records, vendor selection, benchmarking, and negotiation documentation.
