Functions and Responsibilities
- Develop systems to identify and measure key performance indicators (uptime, downtime, scrap, yield).
- Evaluate and identify key site capacity constraints and provide timely solutions to resolve.
- Use Lean tools to measure, understand, and improve process variability and efficiency.
- Manage related capital projects adhering to budget and schedule constraints.
- Identify critical equipment setting and creation of work standards.
- Create technical knowledge for the manufacturing unit and transfer the knowledge to operators and technical associates.
- Coaching associates on continuous improvement methodologies within the manufacturing unit; identify top losses and develop and implement plans to eliminate losses and drive OEE performance.
