Position Overview
In this role, the Lead Test Engineer is responsible for the execution of product testing, data acquisition and the reporting of component performance for Low Voltage Vehicle Controls products designed in Reynosa, MX. You will work with the internal product teams to understand testing requirements for various products. You will lead the test system build and validation of the completed test system. You will document the results and train lab technicians to run sample testing during prototype, design, and production validation testing.
What You’ll Do
- Work with a global cross‑functional team to develop, launch new designs and provide sustaining support for switches, keypads, rotary encoder, and other commercial vehicle electrical products.
- Participate in the launch of new products following the Eaton PROLaunch stage‑gate process.
