Job Description
Salary Range: $50,000.00 To $70,000.00 Annually
We are currently looking to fill a full-time, permanent position for a Staff Accountant at our Leamington ON facility.
What You'll Do:
- Preparing and entering Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable transactions.
- Maintaining and updating vendor information on ERP.
- Supporting the Finance team by assisting with monthly reporting needs and gathering data as required.
- Prepare balance sheet reconciliations for month end close. Prepare and post journal entries for prepayments, long term debt, and various accruals.
- Assist Controller to ensure payroll is posted accurately and wage accruals are completed. Assist in year end payroll reconciliations.
- Assist finance team in annual audit for all companies. Work with auditors to prepare requested schedules and analysis.
- Evaluate finance controls and bring any weaknesses to the attention of the Controller.
