Responsibilities
- Define the product vision and strategy for DX, focused on making GitHub the fastest place to ship software at scale.
- Own and drive the roadmap for developer velocity and experimentation, balancing near‑term developer pain points with long‑term DX bets.
- Identify opportunities to shift internal workflows from manual processes to API‑first, agent‑compatible automation.
- Shape how AI agents and AI‑assisted workflows integrate with the development platform, ensuring internal systems are designed for both human and agentic consumers.
- Partner with engineering to define success metrics and hold the team accountable to outcomes.
- Build deep expertise in GitHub’s internal development workflows and translate that knowledge into clear priorities.
- Drive adoption of opinionated development paths by making the paved path the easiest path.
