Summary:
The Central Sterile Processing (CSP) Technician is responsible for properly disinfecting, decontaminating, cleaning, processing, assembling, storing and distribution of sterile and non-sterile medical devices utilized in patient care. These support services are provided to all patient care areas throughout the health care facilities.
Responsibilities:
1. To decontaminate items brought to CSP from various departments of AR Gould and other off site patient care locations. 2. To place instruments into proper sets and wrap following set policy and procedure. 3. Sterilize items in appropriate manner following policy and procedure. 4. Package cooled items for transport to off site locations. 5. Transport of ster...
