Job Description
The Strategic Supports Coach: Secondary Learning & Student Success is a division‑based teacher leader who partners with secondary teachers to strengthen differentiated instruction, improve outcomes for students with diverse learning needs, and support inclusive classroom practices. The coach will provide job‑embedded coaching that helps teachers address increasing classroom complexity while maintaining high expectations for all learners. This position focuses on supporting teachers as they respond to significant literacy and numeracy gaps, student mental health and well‑being, and the diverse academic, behavioural, and social‑emotional needs present in today's secondary classrooms. The coach will collaborate with school teams to develop practical instructional strategies, connect teachers with appropriate resources, and strengthen inclusive practices that improve student engagement and achievement.
