Job Description
Structural Engineer, Mining Locations: St. Johns, NL; Brampton, Sudbury; North Bay, ON.
Salary range: $85,000 – $95,000 (actual compensation based on experience, qualifications, and location).
In this role, you will be a part of the Mining team and work from one of our offices in St. Johns, NL; Brampton; Sudbury; or North Bay, ON. You will support the design, inspection, and maintenance of mining infrastructure to ensure safety, performance, and compliance.
Responsibilities
Perform site visits to inspect and assess existing mining infrastructure.
Analyze and design steel structures and concrete foundations per applicable codes and standards in the mining and heavy industrial sector.
Prepare sketches and collaborate with designers to produce detailed drawings.
Coordinate with clients and other disciplines to develop layout designs.
Prepare engineering calculations, technical specifications, and scope documents.
