Contribute to the Hamilton LRT project with Aecon Civil as a Subcontracts Procurement Specialist. Leverage your procurement expertise to improve infrastructure and community connectivity.
You will work closely with the Senior Manager, Procurement and Subcontract, to assist in all phases of subcontract coordination and vendor engagement. Your role will involve comprehensive procurement planning, ensuring meticulous document management, and collaborating with various project stakeholders to facilitate seamless subcontract execution.
Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate major subcontract procurement planning and meetings
• Maintain comprehensive filing systems for subcontract documentation
• Prepare and manage RFQ communications and responses
• Schedule and lead bid clarification sessions with vendors
• Conduct due diligence on shortlisted bidders
