General Description: Responsible for managing the financial operations, compliance, and strategic growth of pre-owned vehicle lending, often within a large dealership group, financial institution, or captive finance company. This role entails supporting the Director of Finance by overseeing loan originations, portfolio performance, and maintaining relationships with lenders and dealer partners .Additional responsible for overseeing the strategy, operations, and liquidation of repossessed or returned assets (primarily vehicles, but also equipment or property) to maximize recovery value .Key Responsibilities :Strategic Leadership & Planning : Develop and execute strategies to increase CPO financing penetration rates and profitability .Operational Oversight : Manage day-to-day operations of the CPO finance department, including loan structuring, and funding .Strategic Oversight : Develop and implement strategies to maximize return on assets, reduce turnaround time, and minimize inventory ...
