Job Title: Substation Mechanic I - SR

*** This position will be filled as a Substation Mechanic I, II, III, or Sr. based on the qualifications and experience of the selected candidate. ***
*** This position requires the selected candidate to reside within or to relocate within 30 road miles of the assigned service area. ***
**JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE:**
Working within Entergy's Safety Rules, perform routine & emergency maintenance and repairs on substation equipment.
**JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:**
+ Perform diagnostic testing of substation equipment; breakers, transformers, batteries, cables, etc.
+ Perform substation switching and grounding procedures.
+ Perform construction activities of installing all substation equipment. Perform inspections of substation equipment.
