Summary This position serves as Director of the Office of Pipeline Safety (PHP), located within the Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration (PHMSA). Responsibilities This position serves as Regional Director, Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration (PHMSA), Office of Pipeline Safety (OPS) for one of five geographically-located regions. The Regional Director exercises executive direction over the activities of the region to effectively promote, implement, and administer the pipeline safety program of PHMSA, U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT). The Supervisory General Engineer (Regional Director) Coordinates the testing and implementation of new pipeline safety programs in the field including the sorting of priorities across programs for field implementation.
