Supplier Development Improvement Engineer

Description

• Perform quality and capability assessments for potential suppliers including reporting, follow-up and closure of audit findings and non-conformances
• Perform supplier process audits, Run@ Rate verification, control plan audits, PFMEA reviews, special processes evaluations (CQI), and early production containment
• Provide technical expertise to suppliers in various manufacturing processes: plastic injection molding, stamping, and assembly
• Monitor supplier performance metrics and utilize the appropriate Inteva escalation processes with poorly performing suppliers to improve supplier performance
• Guide suppliers to develop quality strategies to improve quality system implementation, utilizing continuous improvement and problem‑solving techniques
• Lead and coordinate Supplier Change Request, supporting Engineering Changes related to suppliers
