Qualifications
- High school completion required.
- Familiarity with mental health, addiction services, and community resources.
- Experience in social services, community health, harm reduction, or a related field.
- Understanding of trauma-informed, harm reduction, and culturally safe practices.
- Ability to de-escalate conflict in a non-violent manner.
- Awareness of local “street culture.”
- Criminal Record and Vulnerable Sector Check clearance.
Skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to provide respectful, non-judgmental support to diverse participants
