Surgery - Cardiovascular Physician Assistant

We are actively recruiting a Cardiothoracic Surgery Physician Assistant for an ongoing locums opportunity in Tennessee.

Opportunity Details:

• June 2026 through December 2026 coverage needed
• Inpatient setting
• Scheduled clinical coverage plus call
• Cerner EMR
• Approximately 10 patients per shift
• Flexible scheduling discussions available

Clinical Responsibilities:

• First assist in Cardiothoracic Surgery
• CABG and open-heart procedures
• Valve repair and replacement
• EVH / vein harvesting
• CVICU and critical care management
• Pre and post-operative care
• Chest tube and central line placement

Requirements:

• Board Certified PA
• Cardiothoracic Surgery experience required
• ACLS required
• Strong surgical and perioperative experience
