Are you a tax professional who can go beyond compliance and truly influence business decisions?
We are looking for a Tax specialist to take ownership of tax compliance in Mexico while acting as a strategic partner to the business.
What you will do
- Ensure compliance with all Mexican tax obligations, including VAT, Income Tax, withholding taxes, and local taxes
- Assess tax implications of business transactions, new projects, and commercial initiatives
- Identify tax risks and recommend mitigation strategies
- Support audits and manage interactions with tax authorities (SAT)
- Review tax calculations, filings, and reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Monitor changes in Mexican tax legislation and lead implementation of required adjustments
