Position Summary
Based out of Avalon Mall, the Team Lead, Backshift Cleaning is responsible for overseeing the backshift cleaning team, ensuring mall common areas are cleaned to high standards while providing leadership, coaching, and support to staff and collaborating with the Operations Manager to maintain a safe and efficient work environment. Additional duties of the Team Lead, Backshift Cleaning include but are not limited to:
Supervise and lead internal and contract backshift cleaning staff by allocating duties and equipment, ensuring all work is completed to required standards, and acting as a liaison with the Operations Manager.Train all team members on the safe, proper operation and routine maintenance of cleaning equipment (e.g., Tennant floor scrubbers, carpet extractors, commercial vacuums), ensuring equipment is used correctly and consistently on each shift as required.Complete staff schedules, collect and submit tim...
