Overview
The Technical Lead role will be hired under the Engineering Management Centre of Excellence group within the Engineering Management Technical Professional Organization (TPO) of Engineering Services Canada. The Technical Lead role will play a support role in the delivery of Engineering Services on a transformative transit infrastructure project in Calgary. The project is completing detailed design and transitioning into procurement and construction. The Technical Lead will provide clear and practical technical leadership across all elements of the program, including oversight of the design contractor. The role maintains program-wide engineering governance to ensure the design meets the Technical Performance Requirements and the needs of key stakeholder. The Technical Lead advises the Project Director and Client leadership on significant engineering decisions, technical risks and overall design readiness.
