Job Description
The position requires an experienced technical professional with a strong safety-first mindset and solid understanding of vessel maintenance and compliance. The role demands ownership, collaborative work across departments, and clear communication with both onshore and offshore teams.
Responsibilities and attributions:
- Full responsibility for the safe and compliant technical operation of assigned vessels, ensuring adherence to company procedures, the ISM Code, class, flag state, and statutory requirements
- Providing first-line technical support to vessels, including reception, triage, and timely resolution of technical issues
- Acting as a key technical interface towards Masters, Chief Engineers, shipyards, suppliers, class, and authorities
- Ensuring vessels operate in accordance with the Planned Maintenance System, including survey schedules and dry-docking planning
