[What the role is]
As a Technical Officer (TO), you will support the effective operation of laboratories, workshops and college-level facilities within the Electrical Engineering discipline. You will be responsible for asset and inventory management, procurement, and the maintenance and operation of labs and workshops to ensure a safe, well-maintained and operational training environment in accordance with institutional policies and audit requirements.[What you will be working on]
Manage and maintain electrical engineering laboratories and workshops, including equipment, tools and training systems. Carry out maintenance, servicing and repairs of laboratory and workshop equipment, and ensure proper housekeeping of facilities.
