Overview
Candu Energy Inc., an AtkinsRéalis company, is currently looking for a Technician/Technologist – Developing to join our engineering team in Sheridan Park, Mississauga, Ontario. Functionally reporting to the Candu Field Services Team, the Mechanical Technologist would support one of the various Reactor Inspection projects occurring on domestic or international CANDU Reactors. Significant travel should be expected.
Your role
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with company procedures and policies.
- Assist in troubleshooting, maintaining, repairing and assembly of nuclear inspection equipment.
- Assist in testing programs.
- Prepare route sheets and edit documents.
- Complete prioritized work requests on time.
- Become a nuclear energy worker (NEW).
- Be willing to travel to vendor and project sites.
- Support shift work (day/night), if required.
