Qualifications and Experience
Valid BC Ministry of Education Teaching Certificate (or eligible for) Experience working with students with complex needs Level B assessment certification, or willing to obtain Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication skills Computer literate and able to use a variety of applications for classroom instruction and required tasks Ability to participate in meetings, workshops and inservices within and beyond the regular school day to support student learning and/or teaching development Ability to travel to all schools in the district; reliable vehicle to drive in winter conditions Commitment to working with colleagues on staff development activities linked to the District FESL Committed to individualized and group instruction utilizing a variety of effective strategies and techniques Experience in leadership roles at the school level & experience working with adult learners is preferred Training in ELL methodology and appro...
