Job Description
Université Laval is seeking a faculty member whose work focuses on pesticides, emerging contaminants and their impacts on soils, the environment and agri-food systems. The successful candidate will develop an original research program and contribute to teaching at all three academic levels, within a department recognized for its expertise in soil science and agri-food engineering.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and teach courses on pesticides, emerging contaminants and their impacts (fate, transformation, transport, ecotoxicological effects) at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
- Develop an original research program addressing the behaviour of pesticides and emerging contaminants in soils and agroecosystems, their biotic and abiotic interactions, their transport to surface and groundwater, their environmental and health impacts, and innovative risk‑management and reduction strategies.
