Job Description
Position: Third party security risk consultant
Type: 1 year contract + extensions
Location: 2 times a week on site downtown Toronto
Rate: 50-55/hr T4 OR 55-60/hr incorporated
Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of experience working within TPRM within a large enterprise, preferably within a major Canadian bank
- Proven ability to measure risk and clearly present findings to senior leadership
- Strong SOC 2 Type 2 experience, including:
- Hands‑on experience with SOC 2 Type 2 assessments
- Experience participating in or supporting SOC 2 Type 2 audits
- Direct experience reviewing SOC 2 Type 2 reports
- Working knowledge of ISO 27001
- Strong documentation experience, including control narratives and evidence support
- Ability to clearly articulate security and compliance risks in both written and verbal formats
