Overview
We are looking for two full-time, permanent Youth Workers to support Covenant House's mission of providing life‑changing care to homeless, trafficked, or at‑risk youth. The role involves direct implementation of our philosophy, mission statement, and policies related to residential care.
Responsibilities
- Ongoing assessment of youths’ needs and individual counseling.
- Provide crisis intervention in situations of physical confrontation, medical and psychiatric emergencies, and support for youth who have recently experienced trauma.
- Act as an advocate for youth both within the agency and with external agencies.
