Lead civil construction projects with Blackline Civil as a Top Man in Alberta. Oversee trench operations and ensure accuracy in underground utility installations.
As an experienced Top Man, you will direct excavator operators and verify proper trench depth for water and sewer construction projects. Your role is vital to maintaining safety and productivity on-site, where you'll coordinate with pipelayers and monitor ground conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Direct excavator operators for trench depth maintenance
• Read and maintain line and grade for accuracy
• Conduct elevation shots and verify pipe placements
• Coordinate work with pipelayers and foremen
• Inspect pipes and materials for quality assurance
Requirements:
• 2–3+ years as a Top Man or in underground construction
