Job Summary
As a Trader reporting to the Senior Trader, you’ll support our interest rate derivatives and FX trading desk. In this front‑office role, you’ll help provide liquidity and market‑making services to credit unions across Canada. You’ll trade products such as interest rate swaps, bonds, FX (spot and forwards), bond forwards, equity derivatives, and interest rate futures. You’ll also help build models, improve processes, and deliver analytics across the business, while supporting trading operations, technology projects, and product development.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Execute and clear institutional trades across the interest rate derivatives and FX portfolios, maintaining high accuracy in fast‑paced market conditions
- Monitor and mitigate post‑trade risk through active portfolio consolidation and rigorous limit monitoring
