Our client is looking for an experienced Trust Accountant to support financial operations within a law firm environment. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented accounting professional with a strong understanding of trust accounting, compliance, reconciliations, and legal billing processes.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain and reconcile attorney trust and escrow accounts in accordance with firm policy and applicable regulationsProcess trust deposits, disbursements, transfers, and client-related transactions accurately and timelyPerform daily, monthly, and annual trust account reconciliationsMonitor account activity to ensure compliance with legal and ethical trust accounting requirementsPartner with attorneys, billing staff, and firm leadership to resolve trust discrepancies and support reporting needsAssist with audits, documentation reviews, and implementation of internal controls related to trust accountingSupport ...
