AIG is seeking a Casualty Underwriter to contribute to our industry leading Commercial Casualty underwriting team. Responsibilities:
- Review, analyze and underwrite casualty submissions within delegated authority and underwriting guidelines.
- Assist in evaluating claims exposures, coverage requirements, and account profitability.
- Analyze claims data and loss trends to support pricing decisions.
- Communicate risk appetite and casualty value proposition to brokers.
- Collaborate with distribution and other line(s) of business underwriters to target desirable accounts and cross‑selling opportunities from brokers.
