Wabasca Healthcare Centre is looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Unit Clerk to be the glue that holds our acute care and ER team together. In this vital role, you’ll practice the AHS CARES values while working closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless patient care. Your strong computer skills will shine as you coordinate patient tests and treatments, manage admissions, discharges, and transportation, and keep all documentation accurate and timely. You’ll also greet visitors, handle calls, and facilitate communication within the unit, creating a welcoming and organized environment. Clerical responsibilities include distributing and filing documents, processing healthcare billings, scheduling staff, managing payroll, and requisitioning supplies. In addition to a competitive rate of pay, AHS currently has a Remote Retention Allowance in place to an annual maximum of $3,000. This allowance is non-pensionable and is payable on ...
