Job Title: Value Optimization Engineer – Interiors Location: Remote Experience Level: 3 years of experience Job Overview: We are seeking a Value Optimization Engineer – Interiors with 3 years of experience to support cost reduction and value improvement initiatives for interior components. This role focuses on identifying cost-saving opportunities while maintaining performance, quality, and design intent across automotive interior systems. Key Responsibilities: Analyze interior components (trim, cockpit, seating, consoles, plastics, soft trims) to identify cost optimization opportunities Perform value engineering / value analysis (VA/VE) activities across design and manufacturing processes Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Design, Purchasing, Manufacturing, Suppliers) to implement cost-effective solutions Conduct cost breakdowns, benchmarking, and should-cost analysis Propose alternative materials, processes, and design changes to reduce overall product cost Support RFQ processe...
