About the Practice
We are a busy small animal GP practice with 5 DVMs, 2 full-time RVTs and 2 full-time VTs. We pride ourselves on fostering a supportive and enjoyable work environment, and we have taken on many coop placement students.
VT Practicum Program
NVA Canada’s VT Practicum Program offers final‑year veterinary technician students the chance to gain real‑world experience in a supportive, dynamic environment. Work alongside experienced veterinarians and RVTs to develop your clinical skills in patient care, laboratory procedures, anesthesia, surgical assistance, and radiology.
Program Details
- Duration: 2 to 8 weeks, flexible to fit your schedule and career goals.
- Stipend available to help cover travel expenses.
Eligibility
- Final‑year veterinary technician students enrolled in an accredited VT program in Canada.
