The duties and responsibilities of a Vocational Instructor include continuing excellence in one's field, instructional and professional duties, professional development and service. This role ensures quality instruction, curriculum development, and student advising within the Vocational Instructor position.
Responsibilities
- Instructional duties: teaching assignments, course and program preparation and revision, practicum placement, student contact, student advising, evaluation and marking of student work.
- Professional duties: curriculum development, student registration and pre-registration duties.
- Professional development: activities that promote teaching excellence, subject area competence and technical competence.
