Description
PLEA Community Services is currently seeking a TemporaryFull-Time Volunteer Coordinator for our Vancouver Coastal Youth Services team located in Vancouver, BC. This temporary contract is proposed to start as soon as possible, and end upon return of the incumbent. This position requires BCGEU membership.
The Volunteer Coordinator recruits and manages volunteers who work one-on-one with vulnerable children and youth in our mentoring program. The employee will train and support the volunteers, matching them to a suitable participant, and holding them accountable for their assigned duties. The Volunteer Coordinator will also represent PLEA at community events to promote interest and participation in the program.
