Job Description
Overview
The Warehouse Supervisor oversees warehouse and transportation operations for a dedicated McDonald's distributorship. Responsibilities include planning and scheduling manpower and equipment for the hourly workforce, while fostering an environment focused on employee safety, involvement, and morale. This role administers and monitors daily dispatch, maintains a master delivery schedule, and interprets the Collective Bargaining Agreement.
Within this role, the supervisor ensures safety is the top priority through daily communications and action plans with employees, advocates injury/collision risk management and incident avoidance, and drives cost reductions without impacting store delivery targets or service. The position provides strong technical support, direction, guidance, and leadership to the Warehouse and Transportation Departments at an assigned distribution centre.
