Job Description
Join BW Gold as a Water Well Pump Installer at the Blackwater Mine site in British Columbia. Engage in installing, servicing, and repairing vital pumping systems in a remote location on a two weeks on, two weeks off rotation.
As a permanent team member, you will report to the Supervisor of Infrastructure. Your expertise in water well systems will involve hands-on tasks including lowering pumps, testing flow and pressure, and ensuring regulatory compliance. With your mechanical aptitude and 3,000+ hours of experience, you'll play a crucial role in maintaining our operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Install and repair water well pumping systems
• Use hoists to lower pumps and cables into wells
• Connect water lines and test for proper flow
• Diagnose pump failures and replace components
• Inspect well casings for wear or contamination
