Position Summary
Under the supervision of the Operations Manager the incumbent is responsible for operating sidewalk plows to assist with snow removal and other winter maintenance tasks.
The pay range for this position is $23–$25 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Operate sidewalk plow equipment to remove snow and ice from pedestrian pathways, sidewalks and other designated areas. Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment to ensure proper functioning and report any issues.Ensure thorough removal of snow and ice to create safe walking conditions, applying salt or sand as necessary to improve traction.Follow assigned routes and schedules to ensure timely snow removal, adjusting plans as necessary based on weather conditions and priority areas.Collaborate with team supervisor and other team members t...
