Become a Weekend Respite Supportive Roommate with Supported Lifestyles Ltd. and provide indispensable care for adults with developmental disabilities. Engage in life skills and recreational support while living in your own home.
As a Residential Supportive Roommate, you'll be required to live in your own home while supporting clients during weekends for 2-3 days each month. This position enables you to help individuals with personal care, life skills including budgeting and meal prep, and active recreation. Your behavioral intervention expertise will greatly enhance the supports provided.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide live-in support in your residence
• Assist clients with health and medical needs
• Facilitate personal care on scheduled weekends
• Support household management and grocery shopping
• Encourage social outings and community engagement
