Job Description
- Perform a variety of decomposition and leaching methods as per SGS’ Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). These will include acid digests, selective leaches, fusions and others as required.
- Make basic reagents as necessary.
- Provide feedback to supervisors and/or group leader regarding any issues encountered during procedures. E.g., unanticipated reactions, loss of samples etc.
- Verify and adjust calibrations on a variety of lab equipment including dispensers, pipettes, balances and other.
