Make a difference in the lives of youth as a Youth Care Practitioner at the Alberta Centre. This role centers on developmental support and creating structured daily plans.
The Youth Care Practitioner is responsible for assessing client needs and implementing individualized care plans. This position not only requires collaboration with a multidisciplinary team but also emphasizes proactive engagement in behavior management and crisis intervention efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
• Facilitate developmental growth and well-being of youth
• Develop awareness of psychological and social needs
• Maintain records of daily activities for planning consistency
• Deliver family-focused and culturally sensitive programming
• Administer medications following strict protocols
Requirements:
• Diploma in Child & Youth Care or relevant education
• Experience with youth in crisis preferred
