You'll own a set of hospitality accounts and approach each one like its own campaign, not a checklist.

This isn't scripted sales — it's smart, creative outreach that rewards persistence and curiosity.

You will work closely with the founders to shape messaging, strategy, and what actually converts.

The Role

You'll be responsible for:

  • Identify decision-makers at hospitality groups and pursue them across any channel required (LinkedIn, email, phone, creative routes).
  • Turn silence into motion: follow up, escalate, route around blockers, identify internal champions.
  • Treat each account as an individual campaign rather than a list to "work through."
  • Collaborate with Wyatt, team and Jay to align strategy, ICP, and messaging adjustments.
  • Hand warm conversations to Joey for conversion into trials and commercial agreements.
  • Use Clay, Notion, or HubSpot to capture meaningful context: org structures, buying behaviors, objections, who responds and why.
  • Provide weekly feedback on patterns, resistance points, and tactics that worked.

What success looks like in the first 90-days:

  • Generate 10–15 meaningful decision-maker conversations with targeted hospitality groups.
  • Establish repeatable approaches: titles, channels, angles, timing.
  • Create a pipeline of warm opportunities for Joey.
  • Become a trusted tactical revenue partner for the founders.

The Person

  • Proven ability to break into resistant or high-value prospects (industry agnostic).
  • Experience using Clay, HubSpot, or Notion (or similar) for tracking context and touchpoints.
  • Multi-channel outreach ability (LinkedIn, email, phone).
  • Evidence of winning without a fixed script or automated funnel.
  • Experience selling into hospitality, nightlife, franchise, or multi-location groups.
  • Experience with high-trust, relationship-led sales.
  • Understanding of beverage ecosystem, bar ops, or distributor networks.

Salary and Benefits

Salary Range: R45,000 - R55,000 per month as a base.

Through Marketing Pros, the successful candidate will have access to a shared workspace in Cape Town, a Slack group with other South Africa-based marketing professionals, and regular social and training events.
