About the role

The Finance Manager plays a strategicleadership role in managing and developing the Finance and Accounting function
across multiple countries. The position ensures strong financial governance,
accurate reporting, and effective financial performance management, while
acting as a trusted business partner to management.
The role covers Ivory Coast and Mali,
with potential extension to additional countries, and reports hierarchically to the Country Manager and functionally to the Regional Finance
Director.

Responsibilities

● Lead, structure, and develop the Finance and Accounting team, fostering a culture of performance, accountability, and continuous improvement
● Oversee accounting operations, administrative processes, inventory management, and fixed assets management
● Ensure robust cash flow management, treasury forecasting, and liquidity optimization
● Manage group reporting, budgeting processes, and financial performance analysis in line with group standards
● Drive process optimization initiatives to improve efficiency, reliability, and internal controls
● Ensure accurate balance sheet reconciliations and timely financial closing
● Ensure full compliance with tax, legal, and regulatory requirements across the scope
● Act as the main point of contact for external stakeholders, including tax advisors, auditors, banks, and tax authorities
● Provide financial insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making
 
About you

●Master’s degree (minimum Master 2) in Financial Engineering or a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
●Proven experience in team management, including coaching and development of finance professionals
●Strong experience in process optimization and implementation of efficient financial controls
●Solid background in cash flow management, treasury, and financial planning
●Demonstrated experience in group reporting, budgeting, and business performance analysis
●Proven experience in inventory and fixed assets management
●Strong expertise in balance sheet reconciliation and financial closing processes
Good knowledge of tax and legal compliance in a multi-entity environment
●Advanced proficiency in French and English
