Assistant Finance Manager
Job Description
Introduction:
Our client, a well established Insurance Brokerage, is urgently seeking a high caliber candidate to fulfill the above-mentioned position. Details are as followings:
Responsibilities:
• Manage the full set of accounts including general ledger, accounts receivable, account payable, and month-end closing
• Prepare monthly consolidated financial statements and statutory annual financial reports
• Prepare management reports, financial analysis, and accounting schedules
• Support regular statutory filings with regulators
• Support the preparation of the annual budget and periodic forecasts
• Support cash flow management and forecasting
• Support the commission calculation process
• Uphold effective internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure reporting integrity
• Serve as a point of contact for auditors, bankers, and other external parties
• Participate in the upgrade or change of the accounting system
• Perform ad hoc assignments and other duties when required
Requirements:
• Bachelor degree in Accountancy, HKICPA/ ACCA Qualified or Final Stage
• Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese)
• Min 5 years’ relevant accounting experiences in financial or management accounting, preferably in insurance industry
• Self-motivated with passion, positive mindset with good communication skills
• Mature, detail-oriented and able to work independently
• Open-minded, flexible to adapt changes in work processes and/or work assignments
• Proactive team player with good interpersonal and communication skills
• Proficient in PC skills, particularly in MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint
