About the role

The role of the CRM Analyst/Associate is to work closely with the CRMs and support all aspects of fund marketing activities and the full life cycle of the client relationships.

Opportunity:

  • Learn about Brookfield’s broader private funds activities with the view to progress into a junior Client Relationship Manager role longer-term
  • Learn unique marketing strategy and client base relationship building in Japan across various financial institutions and gatekeepers
  • Learn fund marketing experience of equity/debt funds across Private Equity, Real Estate, Infrastructure and other Brookfield private funds strategies
  • Responsible for:

  • Assisting CRMs in prospecting, including but not limited to:Researching into prospects landscape/organization/newsConducting competitor analysis and researchGenerating outreach ideas and crafting targeted outreach messagesTracking outreach progress, interaction, and follow-ups/next steps
  • Assisting with client prospect due diligence processes, including but not limiting to:Understanding due diligence queries and relevant risk prospects trying to assessPerforming quality control of the responsesTracking due diligence progressMonitoring closing process
  • Assisting CRMs in managing full life cycle of the client relationships, including but not limited to:Managing investor requestsCoordinating client meetings, preparing briefing notes, attending meetings, taking meeting notes and tracking follow-ups/next steps
  • Coordinating roadshows, conferences, and client events with respective teams
  • Managing the internal client relationship management database that tracks progress on marketing and relationship management activities
  • Performing special projects as required
  • About you

  • 3 - 5 years of experience in investment, consulting, or fund/portfolio management, dealing with alternative products
  • Strong financial analytical capabilities and investment reporting experience
  • Advanced PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
  • Native Japanese with Japanese educational background.
  • Fluency in English
  • Experience in Japanese organization dealing with alternative products through private funds is
  • Experience in real estate, infrastructure and/or private equity asset classes
  • Experience in analyzing and summarizing complex information
  • Fund marketing sales and support experience
  • Experience working in an international organization and team
