Business Manager (Ghana)
Job Description
The CASE Business Manager is responsible for developing and executing a strategic business plan for
the paints and coatings business in the construction industry. This position involves working with
cross-functional teams to drive revenue growth, profitability, and market share by identifying new business
opportunities, developing product and pricing strategies, and managing customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
● Develop and execute a strategic business plan for the paints and coatings business in the
construction industry, in alignment with company goals and objectives.
● Identify new business opportunities and market trends to drive revenue growth and increase
market share.
● Develop and implement product and pricing strategies to maximize profitability and meet
customer needs.
● Collaborate with R&D, marketing, and sales teams to develop and launch new products and
technologies that meet customer needs and address market gaps.
● Manage customer relationships, including regular communication with key customers to
understand their needs, develop solutions, and maintain strong relationships.
● Conduct market research and analysis to monitor competitor activities, identify new opportunities,
and stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices.
● Provide leadership and guidance to the sales team, including setting sales targets, developing
sales strategies, and monitoring performance against targets.
● Develop and manage the budget for the paints and coatings business, including forecasting
sales, expenses, and profitability.
● Participate in industry events and trade shows to promote products and technologies and stay
up-to-date on industry trends and best practices.
● Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Marketing, or
related field. MBA preferred.
● Minimum of 5 years of experience in the paints and coatings industry, with a focus on the
construction market segment.
● Strong business acumen, with the ability to develop and execute a strategic business plan that
aligns with company goals and objectives.
● Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze market data, identify
opportunities, and develop solutions.
● Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong
relationships with customers and cross-functional teams.
● Demonstrated leadership skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a sales team.
● Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects
simultaneously.
● Willingness to travel to customer sites and industry events as needed.
