Position Summary

At Teem, we support healthcare and business professionals by managing the administrative and operational tasks that keep everything running smoothly. Our Administrative Assistants play a critical role in ensuring both front-end and back-end processes are handled with precision, professionalism, and care.

This hybrid role blends executive-level support with back-office operations. You’ll coordinate schedules, manage communications, and handle sensitive data while also supporting billing, insurance verification, and documentation tasks. Your work will directly impact the efficiency of our teams and the satisfaction of our clients and patients.

Key Responsibilities

Executive & Administrative Support

Provide comprehensive support to senior management, including scheduling and travel coordination.

  • Act as a liaison between executives and internal/external stakeholders.
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Assist with managing corporate social media accounts or online presence as needed.

Back Office Operations

  • Verify insurance coverage and eligibility with accuracy.
  • Process and submit medical billing and insurance claims.
  • Perform data entry and maintain organized documentation of patient and billing records.
  • Provide chat-based support for billing and insurance inquiries.
  • Use CRM systems to manage contacts and client relationships.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with patients, providers, and team members.
  • Escalate complex issues and collaborate to resolve challenges efficiently.

Qualifications

Experience

  • Prior experience in administrative, executive assistant, or medical billing roles.
  • Experience in healthcare or insurance verification is a plus.

Skills

  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Tech-savvy with CRM systems, Microsoft 365, and billing software.
  • Problem-solving mindset with empathy and professionalism.

Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent (additional training in administration or healthcare is a plus).
