The Role: Commercial Manager (Device Financing)
As a key member of our growing team, you will drive the branding, partnerships, and operational excellence of our device financing portfolio.
What You Will Do.
- Manage branding and marketing activities for device financing in Kenya.
- Manage partnerships with OEMs and other relevant partners in Kenya.
- Support dealer operations in close collaboration with the Head of Sales and the Operations Manager.
- Prepare and manage high-level performance reporting for the Head of Device Financing and other executive stakeholders.
- Design and manage dealer and partner offerings in coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
Required Experience and Background.
- Minimum 3 years of operational experience, ideally in fintech, telecom, handset distribution, or retail finance.
- Proven experience working with mobile phone OEMs (e.g., Samsung, Tecno, Infinix, Xiaomi, Oppo, or similar), including partnership management, joint promotions, or channel engagement.
- Hands-on experience in device financing or phone loan programs within fintech, mobile lending, telco-adjacent, or consumer credit environments.
- Strong understanding of the OEM - dealer - financier ecosystem, including dealer onboarding, product positioning, and financing enablement at retail level.
- Demonstrated exposure to go-to-market execution, promotions, and performance tracking within the Kenyan device financing or handset distribution market
