Role Description

This is a remote, contract role for a Technical SEO Specialist. The specialist will be responsible for analyzing, auditing, and optimizing website SEO performance. Key tasks include performing technical audits, keyword research, addressing website SEO issues, optimizing website architecture, monitoring SEO metrics, implementing on-page and off-page strategies, and collaborating with web development and content teams. Delivering data-driven SEO recommendations and improving search engine rankings will be core responsibilities of this role.

Qualifications

• Experience with Technical SEO, including site audits, crawlability, and resolving issues related to indexing and site architecture
• Proficiency in tools such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics, and SEO software like SEMrush or Ahrefs
• Knowledge of on-page and off-page SEO techniques, including metadata optimization, link-building strategies, and content optimization
• Strong analytical skills for monitoring and interpreting SEO performance metrics
• Understanding of web development technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment, managing tasks and deadlines effectively
• Familiarity with content management systems, such as WordPress, is a plus
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous learning in the ever-evolving field of SEO
